Hannah and Seb tied the knot on a rainy Sunday afternoon in early October. Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet, everyone had an umbrella and snuggled up together (in their respective social bubbles) to stay warm.
When Covid-19 first hit Ontario, Bryan and I chatted about different options for couples who had been forced to change their wedding plans. We came up with the option of a small ceremony in an open space (the forest at Guelph Lake) and advertised about it online. One of the first couples we heard from was Hannah and Seb - they were ecstatic at the concept of everything being taken care of, while still honouring their love in a ceremony with their friends and family. With the help of Jess, from Painted White Studio, we put together a romantic spot in the woods for the ceremony. We had a wooden a-frame that was wrapped in battery operated spring lights and dried ruscus, surrounded by candles and a rug for the aisle.
